How It All Began
In 2023, our founder Clara celebrated her birthday with her beloved British Shorthair, Tiantian. On that special day, a friend gifted her a bouquet of stunning fresh flowers. However, as soon as the arrangement arrived, Clara realised that these beautiful blossoms might pose a risk to her pet. Forced to discard most of the bouquet, she recognised a hidden danger behind nature’s allure—a danger not only for her cat but for many pet-loving households.

The Birth of an Idea
While dining out in London one evening, Clara observed an intriguing contrast: some restaurants showcased genuine, fresh flowers, while others resorted to cheap, artificial alternatives. This sparked a thought—why not create a product that offers the authentic feel and visual charm of real flowers, without the maintenance demands or potential hazards? Such an innovation could help businesses cut decoration costs, bring peace of mind to pet families, and provide busy professionals with the effortless beauty of nature.

From Concept to Reality
Driven by her vision, Clara embarked on a global research journey. Over the span of two months, she visited more than 100 factories and eventually partnered with five leading manufacturers to develop hyper-realistic, low-maintenance faux flowers. Drawing on her postgraduate studies in fashion business management and her work experience, Clara ensured that every piece was both practical and distinctive. Keen to meet her customers’ needs, she even enrolled in professional floristry courses, personally overseeing every stage—from material selection to design.

A Warm Vase
Understanding that the perfect flower deserves an equally exquisite display, Clara collaborated with several independent designers to create an exclusive range of vases for Silvafleur. Among these, a series of handcrafted, pet-themed vases stands out—capturing the cherished bond between pets and their owners, and seamlessly blending warmth with artistry.
